Tour Report, Lamanai Ruins

Tour Report, Lamanai Ruins

Myself and a group of doctors were in Belize for 5 days. It was two days of work and the other three days were a little fun. We went to Ambergris Caye to spend two complete days. We had booked thr ruins of lamanai with www.actionboysbelize.com a week before our arrival in Belize. Donald made all arrangements for our excursion.

We boarded the first ferry from Ambergris Caye at 7:00 the morning of the tour. When we arrived at the terminal Robert was there with a sign that says " Our Doctors. " That was funny. We boarded the van and off we went. When we arrived at the river to start the river cruise, Javier was there with fresh lunch, water, and sodas. We boarded the boat and started the river cruise. We saw a lot of birds, crocs, and howler monkeys. The cruise was slow and relaxing.

The tour of the site was very interesting. Javier did a great job of the site. The temples, vegetation, and all that information was very comforting. We were not rushed through our tour. This is the best thing that we did on this trip.

The next day we snorkel with the sharks. This is an interesting experience, but we had a blast on the lamanai river cruise and ruins.

I highly recommend the services of Action Boys Belize. Their services is of high standards and it doesn't cost much. Because it wa 13 of us in our group, ,we paid only $90.00 per/ person for this excursions. The price may differ depending of the number of persons doing the excursion, but it's worth every cent.
