I noticed that the zip line and cave tubing tour is sold on Ambergris Caye for $230.00 per/ person. There are also some companies on the mainland that sell this same tour for $ 110.00 and $ 120.00. Does this mean that visitors to the Islands are being ripped off on tours on the mainland?
calculating the differences, visitors still save a lot by paying their transportation to and from the Islands.

It is such a shame that this has to happen. In this case it is better to book your mainland tours with the small companies on the mainland. I will recommend www.actionboysbelize.com . I have rave reviews about their services on several forums.

We will in Ambergris Caye in December this year. We will be staying at The Pescador. I have notuced that the prices of the tours are very expensive. I have been in touch with www.actionboysbelize.com and the prices they offered for tours are far cheaper. They prabably gave us these prices because we are a group of 14. The prices are as follow: Lamanai Ruins $ 90.00, Cave Tubing and Zip Line $110.00, Xunantunich Ruins $ 90.00. Those are the tour we booked.
We are excited and can't wait to get there!

Just booked a two tours with Action Boys Belize: Lamanai Ruins and River Cruise, Cave Tubing and Zip line. The price of their tours are really great. The price of the cave tubing and zip line is $ 110.00 per/ person and the lamanai tour $ 100.00 . This far cheaper than the prices offered on Caye Caulker.

Lamanai Ruins, Zip line, and tubing

We had a fun vacation on Ambergris Caye. We did 5 days of of hard core diving and two days of mainland tours. We hooked up with www.actionboysbelize.com and had a really great time. We did the ruins of lamanai, cave tubing and ziip line. Their services don't cost much.
Highly recommended.
