Hi everyone,

My fiance and I traveled to Belize last Spring and absolutely loved the country, so much so, we are thinking of getting married there next spring!

The information on the interweb has been relatively sparce on weddings in Belize and was hoping to get a few suggestions here. We are focusing on Ambergis Caye. Last time, we stayed at Ramon's, but would now want something more private. Would Victoria House fit the bill? Any others on the Caye? Also, has anyone ever rented a house for a week or so, and if yes, what was the experience like and what company did you use? We are planning on flying out our close family first and thought a house might work best for them before the chaos of the actual wedding.

Any help/ideas/suggestions would be wonderful and greatly appreciated!

I got married in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye in December. I stayed at paradise villas which are condos...beautiful place.... I hired the services of www.idoinbelize.com also and I could not ask for anyone better......
