Ambergris caye or or caye caulker?

I am taking my family on vacation in Belize July 2009 and would like some recommendations. I a couple of questions.

Is Caye caulker as good as ambergris caye?

We are interested in diving, but dont really want to do a long boat rides on the dive trips. Which Island will be the best?

You may want to consider Ambergris Caye since you don'twant long boat rides. There many dive sites near Ambergris Caye. Most of them are about 10 minutes boat ride.
